Of the many who submitted their portfolios, only six designers were chosen. Brittany Rader and Jacqueline Madey, both of St. Louis, Jimmy Thomas of Minnesota, Maarika Mann and Truly Alvarenga of Nashville, and Nikki Fizer of Kansas City have all been selected as competing finalists for the Aug. 2 event. Each designer will showcase a collection to attendees and will be judged by a panel of fashion experts. A prize package valued at over $15,000 is on the line, along with a presentation spot during one of the Saint Louis Fashion Week events in October.

General admission and VIP tickets are currently on sale for the show, which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 8pm.
