Stop by The Loop’s Piccione Pastry next week to make the community’s season brighter with the shop’s “Pastries with a Purpose” program.  Starting next week, the Italian dessert destination will be donating 10 percent of its net sales to six different nonprofit organizations—one for each day the shop is open during the week.

Here are the December 2014 organizations that will benefit:

Dec. 9: St. Louis Arc

Dec. 10: Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis

Dec. 11: Feed My Peeps

Dec. 12: Regional Business Council – North County Inc.

Dec. 13: Great Rivers Greenway-Friends of the Trestle

Dec. 14: Stray Rescue of St. Louis

As we mentioned on This Week’s Dish, don’t forget to check out the newest seasonal items like peppermint merengue cookies or gingerbread cookie gelato by Gusto Gourmet Creamery offered at Piccione to treat yourself or even do a little holiday shopping.
