Openings/Closings: Smalls Tea & Coffee on Cherokee, The Cup in Chesterfield, Five Star Burgers in Kirkwood
Saturday, Dec. 7: Smalls Tea & Coffee, the brick-and-mortar iteration of mobile tea truck The ReTrailer, opened a month ago on Cherokee Street to rave reviews and social media shares galore. The intimate space, with its handmade décor and vintage accoutrements, serves up the beautiful blends that made owner Lisa Govro a local tea aficionado, as well as Goshen Coffee and baked goods from Red Fox and Whisk bakeries. Following the success of the holiday season, Govro has closed the shop temporarily to build out a more accommodating space and gear up for more progressive offerings like milk teas, tea alchemy and “fake coffee.” Watch the Smalls Facebook page for details on the re-opening.
