March 7: Bootleggin’ BBQ has officially taken over the kitchen at the Pour House located on Washington Ave. With a mission to bring the authentic Kansas City-style barbecue to the St. Louis dining scene, the eatery got its start as a catering business by Pit Master Brenton Brown and crew. From burnt ends to ribs and pulled pork, the lineup of meats are all dry-rubbed and slow-smoked over real Missouri hickory wood that can be accompanied by the famous house sauce with notes of tomato, molasses and secret spices. The full menu and some special items will be available at the grand opening on March 7. Guests can enjoy live music with $5 Trio Sampler Sliders, $2 pulled pork sliders, $1 tacos, $12 buckets and a cash prize bags tournament. The new spot will be open daily from 11am-10pm (or until the food runs out). 1933 Washington Ave., Downtown, 314.241.5999

Spring 2015: Hollyberry Catering will be bringing its tasty talent to a storefront in the unique form of a cafe and catering-to-go concept called Nourish by Hollyberry. Since 1998, Holly Cunningham has helped provide baked goods and catering services both locally and nationally. Soon, guests can drop by Nourish for lunch, call ahead for catered orders to-go or even plan out your next party. The catering company and offices have already moved to the new spot, but there’s an Indigogo campaign in the works to help fund the new venture. 10037 Manchester Road, Warson Woods, 314.968.9239

March 7: The Loop’s Cheese-ology Macaroni & Cheese will be closing its doors early next month. In an announcement via social media, the baked-to-order macaroni and cheese eatery offering an array of flavor combinations has reportedly been struggling with “high costs associated with operating a small business, and have been particularly impacted by record high dairy prices over the last two years.” The decision was a difficult one to make after five years of business. 6602 Delmar Blvd., The Loop, 314.863.6365
