May 27: Tiny seems to be making it big: The latest little location to open in St. Louis will be Tiny Bar in Downtown, which officially opens on Wednesday, May 27. Sporting three seats at the bar, a couch and armchair space and a tiny table for two, the bar really lives up to its name and even has one more tiny tie-in. The bar honors the spirit of  St. Louis Browns player Eddie Gaedel, the smallest baseball player in the MLB. This week the bar will have its soft opening from 5-7pm on both Thursday and Friday nights. 1008 Locust Street, Downtown, 314.800.7218

July: Modern Brewery will be celebrating its first anniversary by opening a tasting room next to its brewery located near The Grove. Feast reports that come opening day, the bar will feature taps for all of Modern’s beers as well as a few guest taps. The tasting room won’t serve food, but other dining options will be available on Fridays and Saturdays, either through food trucks or The Gramaphone. Guests will be invited to tour the space as well as the brewery through a connecting walkway. 5231 Manchester Ave. #E,
