After a soft opening in late February, Lucky Buddha will be celebrating its grand opening this Saturday, March 28. Housed in the former Jefferson Bistro spot, chef René Cruz serves up an eclectic blend of Asian-style comfort food, with flavor influences like Thai, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Guests can choose from a menu of five categories: appetizers, salads, sandwiches and buns, noodle bowls and desserts. All items can be customized to flavor preferences ranging from meats like kimchi chicken to scallion beef and pressed tofu. Vegan options are also available for noodle bowls, buns and sandwiches. As for the drinks, there are local beers on draft and the cocktail menu features a variety of flavorful creations such as the Buddha Collins made with Pickney Bend Gin, lemon, lemongrass syrup and creole bitters. Drop by the grand opening party on Saturday for complimentary liquor tastings from 2-4pm, live music from Miss Jubilee and more. There are even specials on the menu for dogs of diners on the patio. 3701 South Jefferson, South City, 314.833.4568

April 2015: Hollywood Casino is about to get more boozy—about 99 times more, actually—with the addition of the 99 Hops House opening next month. As reported by Sauce, the original location hails from another Hollywood Casino in Indiana and will carry approximately 100 different beers, with about 80 in bottles and 20 on draft. The menu will serve classic pub fare from nachos to burgers with suggested beer pairings. 777 Casino Center Drive, Maryland Heights
