July 23: Enjoy a day out at Urban Chestnut Brewing Co.’s Midtown Brewery & Biergarten for Blues & Que. From 12-6 pm, there will smoky barbecue, ice-cold bier stein specials, and live music. 3229 Washington Ave., Midtown

July 28: Next Thursday, you won’t want to miss a five-course whiskey dinner at Eva’s Attic at Juniper to honor of the Whiskey Rebellion of 1791. The menu will feature dishes like chilled corn soup with watermelon, jalapeño and crispy country ham paired with a Four Roses whiskey cocktail. You will also be a part of Juniper’s introduction of their new cask-strength single barrel from Four Roses that night. Seats are limited and tickets are $75 per person. 360 N. July 28: Join in on a Battle of the Bubbles between Italian Prosecco and Spanish Cava at The Gaslight Lounge on The Hill. Enjoy samples Cava, Prosecco or try one of the bubble-inspired cocktails from the bar while chowing down on eats by Cha Cha Chow. July 30: Plan ahead for next weekend with a trip to St. Charles for STL Sips Pub Crawl. Walk down Main Street to get free drinks from six participating bars including Turners on Main and Bombshell Bar & Grill with many food and drink specials. Proceeds from the day will benefit APA of Missouri—there will even be some adoptable dogs to take home a new friend with you. General admission is $20.
