Don your tiki attire (not required, but encouraged) to Taste by Niche’s seasonal summer series taking place on the last Sunday of each month starting this weekend. Island flavors will please your palate in cocktails like Missionary’s Downfall made with pineapple, peach, light rum, lime and a refreshing touch of honey. Schlafly Beer launched its latest release, Expo IPA, this week, as a tribute to St. Louis’ World’s Fair Exposition in 1904. This boldly flavored, global-infused IPA features eight different hop varieties from farms on three continents.

Reeds American Table earned a nod on the new and noteworthy list by Wine Enthusiast as one of America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2016. The magazine praised chef-owner Matthew Daughaday and notable beverage director Andrey Ivanov on Reeds joining the growing roster of Midwestern culinary gems with a Q&A with the duo.  7322 Manchester Road, Maplewood

June 25: Join the members of Piasa Palisades Group of the Sierra Club at the Old Bakery Beer Company 3rd Annual Craft Beer Tasting at the Old Bakery Beer Company this weekend from 3-6pm.
