On Tap: The Rep Prepares for the 13th Annual St. Louis Food and Wine Experience
Jan. 11: Want to up your cocktail-shaking game this year? Well, Ted Kilgore wants to help out with a Mixology 101 class at Planter’s House. Guests can participate through tastings, cocktail-shaking, creating cocktails and more with light snacks. Jan. 23-25: Plan to start off one of the first weekends of the new year full of flavor with the 13th annual St. Louis Food and Wine Experience. Held to benefit The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, guests of the events will participate in a variety of tastings stocked full of some of the finest wines in the country and across the world and freshly prepared foods in the Chase Park Plaza.
In addition to the general admission floor with more than 500 wines and beers to be sampled, a Premier Tasting offered will include 220 hard-to-find wines with hors d’oeuvres on Friday, Jan. 23. For the wine connoisseurs looking to further please their palates, a VIP ticket can be purchased for Saturday or Sunday to access the special reserve room complete with a buffet created by the Schnucks culinary arts team. Opportunities to participate in live and silent auctions will also be available to bid on rare wines, gift certificates and more. Tickets can be purchased in advance until noon on Jan. 22.
