Craft beer, cocktails and locally-sourced pub fare are now available at Central West End’s newest drinking and dining destination, Retreat Gastropub. Located in the Cortex District of CWE inside the 6 North building, the new pub from owner Travis Howard brings a warm atmosphere featuring rustic, wooden tables and bar complete with Edison light bulbs. At the bar, expect to see a large variety of classic cocktails, new creations and eight taps featuring primarily local breweries. From the kitchen, the menu offers innovative takes on pub food made with regional items like a kale Caesar salad or a Farmhouse burger topped with candied bacon and a fried egg. The grand opening will start today at 5pm with lunch and dinner offered Wednesday-Monday. 2 N. Sarah St., Central West End
