On Tap: New Hand-Selected Barrels of Whiskey Arrive at Gamlin Whiskey House

Be sure to stop where whiskey-lovers unite this weekend at Gamlin Whiskey House as restaurant unveils some of the five new hand-selected barrels. Expected to be available by the ounce and bottle before Christmas, the three new hand-selected single barrels—and one new signature blend—include: Angel’s Envy Signature Blend Bourbon, Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon, Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Bourbon and Russell’s Reserve 10-year-old Single Barrel Bourbon. There’s also plans for a 12th edition of the signature single barrel Knob Creek.

“The expansion of our selection of hand-selected whiskeys is a great way for us to provide our guests with an experience they can’t find anywhere else,” says Gamlin Restaurant Group Proprietor Lucas Gamlin. Dec. 5: Join Ted Kilgore at Planter’s House to celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition and Planter’s House’s 2nd anniversary. Dress in your historically inspired cocktail attire and enjoy cocktails, beer, hors d’oeuvres and live music from 7:30-11pm. The evening is sponsored by and will feature: Knob Creek Rye, Jim Beam Bonded Bourbon, Old Grand Dad Bourbon, Laphroaig Scotch, Cruzan Estate Diamond Rum, El Tesoro Tequila and 4 Hands Brewing Company.
