Morgan Street Brewery is celebrating its 18th anniversary this week with a limited release brew, a special beer-pairing menu, throwback pricing, live entertainment and a wrap party guaranteed to knock your socks off.

The festivities kicked off Sunday and continue through Saturday, Sept. 21. When you visit Morgan Street this week, be sure to toast the beloved brewery with a glass of their limited-release Oktoberfest, which most recently won a gold medal in the 2013 San Diego International Beer Competition.

And check out the special anniversary menu pairing small plates by chef Trisha Donze with hand-crafted beer pairings from award-winning brewmaster Dustin Chalfant. If you plan your trip between noon-5pm, you can enjoy a tour and further celebrate the brewery’s history with 1995 beer pricing to commemorate the year Morgan Street opened. And Wednesday night, revelers will find Lucky Dan and Naked Mike entertaining the patio crowd from 6-9pm.

But the best is being saved for last, with Brewfest from 1-5pm on Saturday, Sept. 21, where local breweries will join Morgan Street in a celebration of all things craft beer. Sample unique offerings from Morgan Street, Trail Head, 2nd Shift, Alpha, Schlafly, Augusta, Charleville, Kraftig, 4 Hands, Cathedral Square and O’Fallon. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. And stick around afterward for the Birthday Bash, with plenty of bar specials, local live music, DJs and dancing to wrap up a week of celebrating an important player in our local beer culture. 721 N.
