On Tap: Full Bar, Expanded Space In the Works for Russell's on Macklind

Chef-owner Russell Ping has partnered with Space Architects to transform Russell’s on Macklind. The upstairs space of the restaurant will be getting a full bar, extended dining area and room to host private events. The popular Southampton eatery’s upgrades will be coming with a change to the service, as it will soon feature sole table service instead of just at dinner time. This will hopefully allow a shorter waiting time for to-go customers.

As for the full bar, Russell’s will feature a curated cocktail and drink menu that will be seasonally-driven and local when possible. For example, the Jelly Jar made with roasted strawberries, lemon, vodka and a splash of dry Cava would be a perfect summer cocktail. Aug. 21: Head to HandleBar tonight to celebrate That ’80s Club for its final night. DJ’s Trash Talk and Clockwork will spend the evening spinning your favorite jams. The event is 21+, doors open at 10pm with $5 cover. 4127 Manchester Road, The Grove, 314.652.2212

Aug. 21 & 23: Get your beer fix tonight as the Bolzen Beer Band return to Urban Chestnut Brewing Company’s Midtown Brewery & Biergarten at 7pm. No tickets required for this free event and there will be beer and food available for purchase.
