Chef-owner Russell Ping has partnered with Space Architects to transform Russell’s on Macklind. The upstairs space of the restaurant will be getting a full bar, extended dining area and room to host private events. The popular Southampton eatery’s upgrades will be coming with a change to the service, as it will soon feature sole table service instead of just at dinner time. This will hopefully allow a shorter waiting time for to-go customers.

As for the full bar, Russell’s will feature a curated cocktail and drink menu that will be seasonally-driven and local when possible. For example, the Jelly Jar made with roasted strawberries, lemon, vodka and a splash of dry Cava would be a perfect summer cocktail. There’s even talks of a collaborative signature beer with a local brewer. The updated space is expected to be complete later this fall. 5400 Murdoch, Southampton, 314.553.9994
