On Tap: Ferguson Brewing Co. Celebrates Anniversary
In honor of Ferguson Brewing Company’s sixth anniversary of providing craft brews in our city, you can take your commemorative tasting glass to try the 30 participating local breweries such as Schlafly, Old Bakery, 4 Hands, Earthbound, Urban Chestnut and more. Music will be provided by Steve Ewing and Jeske Park while you enjoy your brews. Tickets are available online starting at $25 and will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday, April 16. 418 S. Sandwiches and beer pair so well together, Craft Beer Cellar has partnered up with Salume Beddu to give you a lunch you can’t pass up. This week, the Clayton beer spot from Brandon and Ryan Nickelson began offering the artisan cured meat market’s muffuletta and salami sandwich along with locally made Billy Goat Chips during lunch hours. 8113 Maryland Ave., Clayton
April 16: Celebrate whiskey, wine and women at The W Party Saturday. Head to Living Collective and join The Vino Gallery and host Weird Culture along with the local businesswomen behind Creature Type, May’s Place, Moxie Moon, Blacksheep and Butt’n Booty. There will be wine and whiskey tastings from 4-6pm and stay to enjoy the party, music and shopping. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit The Covering House, which aids victims of sex trafficking. 703 McPherson Ave., Central West End
April 18: Enjoy a free beer class Billy G’s in Kirkwood. The first up in the series of upcoming class is the Civil Life Brewing Co. There will also be some light snacks and no reservations are required. 131 W. Argonne Drive, Kirkwood
May 6-7: Mark your calendars: There’s less than a month until this year’s St. Louis Microfest. The two-day tasting event will bring 80 breweries and more than 100 craft brews from around the world to Forest Park. Admission includes tastings from your commemorative glass, live music, a silent auction and education from sessions in the demo tent.
