Fashion’s jack-of-all-trades and ALIVE Magazine’s March cover star Nigel Barker is set to┬áhead to the Lou on March 11 for an appearance at the Boo Cat Club (312 Union Blvd.) presented by Left Bank Books to promote his newest book, “Models of Influence.”

Barker will participate in a conversation with Debra Bass, Fashion Editor of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, followed by a book signing. Tickets include a copy of the book and the event kicks off at 7pm.

In “Models of Influence,” photographer, television host and fashion authority Nigel Barker profiles 50 of the most noteworthy models from the 1940s to the present, who not only defined an era but shaped their generation. Barker has personally selected more than 100 full-color and black-and-white photographs from the archives of the world’s top fashion photographers to assemble a collectible anthology of many of the finest fashion images from the last 70 years.
