New in the Grove

Sameem Afghan Restaurant (4341 Manchester Ave., 314.534.9500) now adds traditional Middle Eastern cuisine to The Grove’s diverse range of flavors, with a menu chock full of hearty dishes featuring lamb, rice, vegetables and authentic Afghan spices (with plenty of vegetarian options as well). You may recognize owner Fahime Mohammad from his previous venture, Kebab Palace, on South Grand.

No Coast Skateboards (4260 Manchester Ave., 314.534.0080) boasts that it is the only skater-owned skate shop in the city, focusing on locally-crafted skate products, from gear to apparel—with plenty of national brands as well. Shoppers can even test out their new boards on a "sick" miniramp inside the shop.

Urban Breath Yoga (4237 Manchester Ave., 314.421.9642) recently opened a new main studio in The Grove, offering more breathing room for its most popular group classes, and the space to expand its services even more. The original location in Dogtown will still house Prenatal Yoga, Mommy and Me Yoga and special workshops. More info at
