Originally from Bloomington, Illinois, Ellsworth studied culinary arts at Kendall College in Chicago, and has since garnered an impressive resume. Working around the world from Nicaragua to Yosemite National Park, the now seasoned former executive chef of Chandler Hill Vineyards is sure to bring locally-inspired and artful pieces to the table.

President of Butler’s Pantry Richard Nix, Jr. says Ellsworth continues to build on his culinary passion by “utilizing trending ingredients and creating unique dishes using locally produced foods.”

Stop by Bixby’s to welcome the new chef and try the new Louisiana Purchase exhibition-inspired fall menu today with dishes like Duck Rillette with cranberry chutney, stoneground mustard, Spanish paprika crostini, house-made pickles and a persimmon and apple buckle with vanilla gelato.
