The St. Louis fashion set is about to have a new shopping destination this fall: La Ville, the newest venture by former fashion designer Jacqueline Madey (of Jacqueline Nicole), is slated to open its doors in Ellisville at the corner of Clarkson and Clayton on Oct. 1.

The 1500-square-foot space will house an impressive roster of brands, several of which are exclusive to the shop. La Ville will focus on stylish clothing from the likes of BCBGeneration, Parker, Ted Baker London; premium denim by Fidelity and DL1961; handbags (including Ted Baker Leather Goods and Kansas City-based handmade Dolyn Bags) and jewelry.

La Ville, which translates to “the city” describes the store’s future vibe—and potential for expansion. “The city is a place where fashion is inspired and created, where people look to find what’s new,” says Madey. “I want La Ville to be all of those things—a true style destination.”

Among the well-curated offerings, Madey will be offering a stylist-based sales concept that will pair shoppers up with a trained, complimentary personal stylist who will assist them in all aspects of building a look—or several—for any occasion from every day to work and play. “We really wanted this to be a shopping experience that feels very personal,” Madey explains.

The opening date is set for Oct. 1,  just in time for the fall fashion and holiday seasons. A grand opening event will take place mid-October, with sales, specials, giveaways—and cocktails—on hand for the entire weekend.
