Modern Women’s Clothing at Winsome Goods in Minneapolis

 In Feature, Style

Winsome Goods founder Kathryn Sterner began the women’s clothing line by sewing pieces herself, after graduating from University of Minnesota’s College of Design and working as a designer for Target. Based in Minneapolis, Sterner’s concept is a welcome alternative to the fast-fashion companies hiding poor working conditions and generating tons of waste. Based in sustainable practices, Sterner brought her minimal, elegant design sensibility to the pieces crafted by Winsome Goods, eventually responding to a growing demand by adding a small team of seamstresses and designers.

Sterner’s designs combine whimsy, functionality and beauty. The Winsome Goods Ivor Top and Quilty Pant in royal blue is a stunning combination, made from a comfortable and flattering cotton-blend fabric. Don’t miss the vintage Lucy denim dress, a closet staple that can be worn again and again, styled in a multitude of ways.
