The front row of Mother Model Management’s Tribute fashion show was the place to be last night–as the agency that discovered Karlie Kloss and Ashton Kutcher brought together its successful working models and fresh faces for the ultimate runway show.

The 130-plus-look runway extravaganza, styled by Samantha Chadwick, is Mother’s way of paying tribute to the talent on its roster while showcasing current trends and iconic fashion moments through thrift and vintage fashion.

This year’s themes ran the gamut–from an homage to the era of ’90s supermodels and the epic imagery of Gianna Versace shot by Richard Avedon to Chanel-inspired looks and hot fall trends like cobalt blue, brocades and embellishment, biker chic and a throwback to grunge.

“As far as individual pieces go, I loved some of the vintage gowns,” Mother’s Mary Clarke says. “They were absolutely stunning. My favorite segment was the nod to the ’90s supermodels: Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, etc. Those Richard Avedon images are timeless and inspiring.”

Spotted among the high-fashion crowd were special guests Victoria Perillo of Models.com, Yonta Taiwo of NEXT Los Angeles, Johan  Cewers of NEXT New York and Marcia Moellers of Bravo Tokyo, in addition to several local fashion influencers.

Though each segment of the show had a unique vibe and energy, we couldn’t help but love these memorable runway moments…

When the show opened to a sea of black, the dramatic hardware accessories were the obvious stars.
