Lulu’s Local Eatery will join the South Grand community early this May at a new permanent location where they will continue the eco-friendly and vegan concept of their food truck. As reported by Sauce Magazine late Friday, owners Robbie Tucker and Lauren Loomis (a.k.a. Lulu) are planting across the street from Café Natasha in the space once home to Natty’s Pizza.

In an email, Loomis shared some of the plans for Lulu’s, which will offer lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. “We will offer similar menu items as the food truck with new, rotating seasonal specials,” said Loomis. Besides the new dishes, diners can also look forward to a patio and vegetable garden planned for the new location. The outdoor space should be a prime spot this spring to enjoy Lulu’s wide selection of local craft brews and wine.

Lulu’s food truck has rolled the St. Louis streets since April of 2012 and will continue dishing up their vegan favorites, such as sweet potato falafel and spicy chipotle hummus, while they work on the South Grand location.
