Local Love: St. Louis’ Own BelleStyle Bijoux Conquers Your Fall Wish List

Inspired by art, travel and timeless treasures, BelleStyle Bijoux jewelry began in 2003 with the simple desire to make women feel beautiful. Designer and busy St. Louis mom, Heather Korn, manages to do just that, describing the BelleStyle philosophy as “ever evolving” and credits her inspiration as everything from vintage and rock n roll, to the Earth’s “limitless beauty.”

The BelleStyle fall 2013 collection entitled “Napoleon” is no exception to the brand’s antique-inspired aesthetic. Taking a nod from the history books, the wearer is encouraged to “harness the past to change the future,” with items including the “Pop Napoleon” necklace, “Past, Present, Future” earrings and the “Conquer” necklace. Exquisitely hand-crafted, each piece is made locally at BelleStyle’s Kirkwood showroom, using American-made gunmetal and rose gold chains, Italian sterling silver and copper coins. The company even offers their customers free lifetime repairs.

The collection, which launched online last week, is a refreshing ode to the past. Conquer a piece of your own on BelleStyle’s website, and look for the brand at local boutiques like Charm, Esther and Klutch.
