A constant advocate for all things handmade, Elizabeth Hahn-Lawrence is a leader in the St. Louis craft scene. Since 2007, her bohemian-chic accessory line, Just Liv, has been a staple for local fashion lovers, music mavens, and festival queens alike. Using her background in fashion design and her affinity for re-purposed fabrics, Elizabeth has transformed her part-time hobby into a successful full-time business.

Creating handmade jewelry, hair accessories and hats for the sweet and edgy woman, her identifiable pieces are feminine with a rebellious twist, utilizing materials including studs, spikes, fringe and leather. Her Eco-friendly line caters to clients of all ages, allowing them to showcase one-of-a-kind statement pieces that are as unique as the individuals themselves.

This summer, Just Liv hit the festival circuit, setting up shop in Indianapolis for the Independent Music and Art Festival, in Chicago at Lollapalooza, and in St. Louis at LouFest in September. “I probably love music more than is healthy for a person whose job has nothing to do with music. But the energy and fashions at music festivals and live shows is electric, and I can’t help but be inspired,” Elizabeth says.

Just Liv can be found on Etsy and in several local boutiques including Ziezo, Blue Bird the Boutique, mobile retailer Rack + Clutch and The Foundrie, which Elizabeth co-owns with friend and fellow designer Shelah McClymont. Festival go-ers can also snag some original pieces by Just Liv at the LouFest Market Square on Sept 7-8 and at the Strange Folk Festival on Sept 28-29, where she will premiere her fall collection.
