Passionate about goods that are made in the home, Amanda Gray-Swain opened her Etsy store, Sprouted Designs, in 2010 with the goal of offering clients a simple and chic option to practical kitchen decor. What began with screen-printed flour sack towels boasting simple yet graphic designs of fruits, vegetables and utensils, has grown into an entire collection of paper goods and children’s clothes inspired by her love of nature.

Amanda creates each Sprouted Designs piece by hand using pre-shrunk, natural-based fabrics that are dyed without using any harsh perfumes or chemicals. Her collection has grown to include various designs of her signature flour sack towels, note cards, napkins, onesies, scarves and holiday decor.

Her brand has launched locally over the past three years and is now available at St. Louis stores including Local Harvest, Maven, Lass and Laddie, Sweet Boutique in Clayton, St. Louis Curio Shoppe and the St. Louis branch of national home decor retailer, West Elm.
