Local Designers Return to St. Louis with The Factory Fashion Show This Month
The Factory Fashion Show, St. Louis’ premier biannual fashion show & night market, is one of the city’s top creative events, perfect for a night out exploring, shopping and getting inspired in the city. This season’s show will take place Saturday, April 14, from 7-10 p.m. at Treffpunkt on Jefferson—a renovated church just a block from the Cherokee Street Arts District. Purchase tickets via the event’s website.
The event strongly emphasizes the work of local, independent designers who are pushing artistic boundaries while also collapsing intimidating barriers between audiences and high fashion. These values are made clear by this year’s designer lineup for the fashion show, which includes the work of Michael Drummond, Yoro, Q Liu, James Harrison, Lauren Tracy and Colt Fuller—a featured guest designer from Dallas. A mix of emerging and established designers will have the opportunity to showcase their designs in the midst of an environment where creativity, passion and inspiration are at the forefront.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to peruse the night market before and after the show, where they’ll find eclectic wares crafted by local artisans and a curated selection of vendors selling jewelry, clothing, art and more.
“The Factory creates a platform for collaboration between artists of all media, fusing fashion and art with a theatrical, experimental element. The event builds direct connections between artist and consumer, and creates an interactive experience for the audience,” according to the event’s producers.
