When Katie McKenna started her fashion line, Pink Sheep Heiress, in early 2012, she had no idea that just two short years later the line would be featured in a video for one of music’s biggest stars. Young B, a female rapper most famous for her part in the “Chicken Noodle Soup” video with DJ WebStar, will be wearing the spiked leather “Rock Top” from Pink Sheep Heiress’ SS2014 collection in an upcoming video for Drake’s song “Wu Tang Forever.” Needless to say, McKenna was excited when the video’s stylist sent her a picture of Young B wearing her design on set with Drake in January (pictured).

Inspired by her experiences in the pop-punk band Red Letter Days, McKenna specializes in concert performance wear with rock ‘n’ roll touches. Accordingly, the line is full of attitude, with lots of black and white with pops of hot pink accented with leather and studded embellishments. The brand is sold locally and on both coasts, and was featured in Los Angeles’s C California Style magazine. Pink Sheep Heiress focuses on “upscale, ready-to-wear as well as original concert performance wardrobes for musicians and celebrities,” and the price range runs from $150-$1,000.
