April 7

Percussion Play-Along Feat. Marie Schwarz, Obviously Offbeat @ America’s Tavern, 8:30pm, FREE

During this intimate singer-songwriter’s performance, the audience (you!) has the chance to pick up a number of supplied percussive instruments (or bring your own) and play along with the artist’s songs!

Kenny Barron Trio @ Jazz at the Bistro, 7:30 + 9:30pm, $35

Kenny Barron was named one of the top jazz pianists in the world by The Los Angeles Times. Enough said. Catch him on his final night of performances!

April 8

Foxing with o’brother, Tancred and Adjy @ The Luminary, 8pm, $11 in advance /$14 day of show.

STL’s own Foxing puts on a show with a stacked indie rock, post rock line-up. This is a show St. Louis music-lovers have been waiting for, so get out there and join in on supporting a hardworking, talented group of local musicians and their friends!

X Ambassadors @ Jesse Auditorium (Columbia, Missouri) 8pm, $22.50

A short two-hour drive takes you to Columbia where you can see up-and-coming alt rock band X Ambassadors perform their hit, “Renegade,” and other songs from their newest album.

Caroline Glaser @ Blueberry Hill’s Duck Room, 8pm, $13

Nashville singer-songwriter Caroline Glaser, comes to the Duck Room in promotion of her hot new single, “Drive.”

Tom Sauk with Doctor Delia @ The Bootleg at Atomic Cowboy, 9pm, FREE

Singer-songwriter Cody Mitchell fronts Tom Sauk with his honest voice and lyrics.
