Lindenwood University Fashion Design Students Impress At Spring Fashion Show
Lindenwood University held their annual spring fashion show at Mercedes-Benz of St. Louis this past weekend to a packed house. Volunteer models donned handmade garments created by nine of the university’s fashion design students in a runway show that was creative, classy and occasionally risqué, with themes for each individual line, such as “The Remix” and “Modest Elegance.”
The New York City-inspired fashion show was hosted by Lindenwood alumna and former Miss USA, Shandi Finnessey. The show was followed by a finale of a glow-in-the-dark collection, “Macrocosm,” created by student Shermonda Green, who also won an award that evening for best line overall.
