Lift For Life Academy Announces 6th Annual Celebrating Success Fashion Show
For the sixth year, St. Louis’ first independent charter school, Lift For Life Academy, will host its annual VIP luncheon, Celebrating Success Fashion Show.
Each year, students from the school’s fashion design class have the unique opportunity to showcase their runway-ready designs at the Ritz in front of St. Louis’ fashion and philanthropic community. This year, the show will take place on May 1 from 12-3pm at the Ritz in Clayton. Honorary Chair Marylen Mann will be joined by Co-Chairs Dorte Probstein, MaryAnn Srenco and emcee Ida Woolfolk.
Following cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a catered lunch and a one-of-a-kind fashion show featuring original designs by the students. A opportunity bid on many exciting auction items in a silent auction and meet the student designers and models will follow.
The funds generated from the event will assist the academy in continuing to provide college and career-focused educational experiences for 6th-12th grade students in the city of St. Louis. According to the school’s website, in 2015, over 98 percent of current seniors graduated, and 100 percent of these graduates were accepted into colleges, universities and/or military. Tickets can be purchased through the school website.
