With fall finally here (who else is extremely excited?), it’s time to fill up our calendar with events to keep us busy in that crisp, wonderful air. Starting next week, your calendar is going to start filling up because we’ve got the events for you.

Well Crafted
Sept. 22 | 6pm
The carefully curated (free!) event is back next Tuesday for its second year. Join us at The Luminary for whiskey sampling, delicious bites from local STL restaurants and the chance to meet the makers of well-crafted goods in person. Part of St. Louis Design Week, Well Crafted will also be premiering the latest The Spotlight Series film. We know you’re excited, so make sure you RSVP before it’s too late.

Saint Louis Fashion Week Kickoff Party
Oct. 22 | 5:30pm
The biggest week of fashion in our city is almost upon us. Help us kick off the fashion fun at West County Center on Oct. 22 with cocktails, fashion and lots and lots of shopping. Not only will you be enjoying your favorite—fashion—but you’ll be helping a good cause: Ticket sales benefit our friends at Friends of Wings. Is there anything better than helping an amazing organization at a runway show? We think not.

STL Living: A Modern Home Tour & Tasting
Oct. 24 | 11am
If you’re anything like us, you love seeing how other people decorate. What color did he paint his walls? Where did she get her throw pillows? Look at that sink! Well, to help satisfy that curiosity, we’ve teamed up with Mosby Building Arts for the STL Living: A Modern Home Tour & Tasting. Join us on Oct. 24 for a chauffeured tour through five of STL’s best (and most unique!) homes. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a special grand prize at the end of the tour. Space is limited, so make sure you reserve your seat on the tour today.

Caleres Emerging Designer Award Presented by Saint Louis Fashion Fund
Nov. 4 | 6pm
The runway event of the season is here and features five talented designers—Haus Alkire, Eckhaus Latta, Azede Jean-Pierre, Houghton and Novis. Both local and national designers will come together with influential industry professionals, fashion celebrities, models and so much more right here in STL this fall. The runway event will take place in the much-loved St. Louis Union Station’s Midway on the longest runway in STLFW history. Enjoy a cocktail hour and have your photo taken in Sara’s Social Booth before being enticed by the fashion show and the announcement of the winner of Caleres $25,000 award.

Wear It: Fashion Challenge
Nov. 5 | 7pm
Local designer finalists will create a look inspired by an iconic piece of art, showcasing their final design during a special opening event at V Projects in The Grove during STLFW. One winner, to be determined by an esteemed panel of judges, will win a $5,000 prize presented by ALIVE Magazine and Siba.

projects+gallery presents Fantich & Young
Nov. 6 | 6pm
projects+gallery welcomes East London design duo Mariana Fantich and Dominic Young to STL on Nov. 6. The duo will be presenting their newest exhibition Apex Predator | Darwinian Voodoo for the first time in the United States. Manipulating and juxtaposing ready-made materials, the artists address Darwin’s theory of evolution and natural selection with their beautiful and quite unique pieces of work. And to say that we’re excited they finally brought their work across the pond is a bit of an understatement.

STL Designer Pop-Up
Nov. 7 | 10am
We love our local designers and any chance we can get to buy their clothing is one we jump at, which is why we’re so excited about the STL Designer Pop Up at SKIF. Shop and view the newest STL-based fashion designer collections at one of the most inspiring places in the city – the production studio of SKIF International on The Hill. Not only can you purchase fantastic pieces to update your wardrobe, but entry is free. Make sure to RSVP online because space is going to be very limited.
