STL’s top local spot to buy handmade, The Foundrie, announced their plan to open a second retail location at West County Center in Fall 2014—but they need your help.

As the demand for their eloquently curated selection of handmade, local goods has skyrocketed, so has the demand for a second, closer-to-the-city location. The Foundrie has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to help the small business raise $10,000 in order to meet customer demand and set up a brand new, second location in Des Peres. For one month (through July 15) customers, friends and fans can make donations to support owner Shelah McClymont’s budding business.

In addition to the pending new locale, The Foundrie’s flagship store in Chesterfield is moving next door to a smaller location in order to spread out inventory. In order to get the store completely set up, they will be closed the week of June 23-July 1 with plans to reopen by July 2.
