Handmade Products to Pamper Your Skin from Butter Love by L.C.
If you’re a connoisseur of random pop-ups and art markets throughout town, you may have seen the all-natural products from Butter Love by L.C. At each event, proprietor La’Crassia Wilderness stands with a welcoming smile next to her pop-up shops, which are decorated with eucalyptus and clean, natural labeling.
She has been making organic, handmade skin-care products out of her home for four years. Each is crafted with holistic healing in mind. Wilderness sources her ingredients locally and believes that anything consumed topically by the body should be positively experienced on multiple levels.
Butter Love by L.C. offers a number of holistic healing, detoxifying and rejuvenating products, including shea butters, essential oil-infused bath salts, sugar scrubs, face masks and more. Its exfoliating scrubs gently remove dead skin cells, aiding in elasticity of the skin, creating a glowing effect. The intense moisturizing body butter is used to nourish, hydrate and heal the skin from within.
Products from Butter Love by L.C. are available online and at St. Louis-area pop-up markets. Going into the holiday season, there’s a full slate of these listed on the company’s website. The site also offers dates for workshops where guests will learn how to make a product themselves. The next one is Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Mac’s Local Buys in Dogtown. For $25, you’ll learn to make detox bath salts for yourself or to give as gifts, plus nosh on treats from Mac’s.
