Gryffin, Ookay and Dash Berlin Come To Ballpark Villiage This Week
We all know about Ballpark Village by now. Some love it, some love to hate it. The truth is, there are some really great events that go on behind the $100 million dollar walls. One event at BPV to look forward to this summer is The Element Midwest Music Festival, June 24. This is a unique outdoor summer festival, featuring three dynamic performers in the heart of Downtown St. Louis.
The Element Midwest Music Festival, presented by E.I. Vatterott College Ex’treme Institute by Nelly, will be at the Busch II stage. The evening opens with a DJ set by Gryffin, followed by superstar Ookay ending with headliner Dash Berlin.
Gryffin remixes songs by Troye Sivan, CHVRCHES, and many more huge influences on modern music. His remixes are feel-good dance tracks with the perfect amount of chill.
Ookay is one of the most impressive young leaders in the trap scene right now. With an impressive collection of tracks including work with Sean Paul, Steve Aoki and Diplo, Ookay can only go uphill from here.
The main event, Dash Berlin, is an electronic music group out of the Netherlands made up of Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. They’ve worked on remixes of major artists such as Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher and Lenny Kravitz.
So come out and enjoy a night of electronic music with some of the world’s leading DJ’s at Ballpark Village Friday, June 24. $11 GA tickets/ $15 day of show. Doors open at 6pm. Event parking is $5.
