As previously reported by ALIVE, Edwardsville-based Goshen is a strictly wholesale operation right now, so head roaster Argus Keppel says the pop-ups give them the opportunity to ensure each drink is made the best way possible.

Like the summer pop-ups, the tasting room will have a full espresso bar, hot coffee, and pastries from SweetArt and Pint Size Bakery. Keppel said the goal of the pop-ups was to get people to realize that coffee is on the same level as wine and craft beer, and for those who value quality and craft over cost and convenience.

The Goshen Tasting Room is open from 7am-12pm Thursday to Sunday, with the idea of extending hours in the future. Keppel says the concept is to taste coffee and find flavor notes, rather than just drink it. 1220 S. 8th St., Downtown, 314.436.1559
