Gorgeous, Must-See Jewelry from This Nashville Designer
Nashville-based designer, artist, mother and entrepreneur Brooke Seraphine didn’t completely know what she was getting herself into when she started Seraphine Design, her eponymous line of handmade jewelry inspired by signature chunky stone collars made from raw Peruvian pyrite, sourced from the South American country’s capital, Lima. Heavily inspired by the raw beauty of nature and earth-developed minerals, Seraphine has built her business by taking these treasures and crafting them into pieces of wearable art.
She began by making collar-shaped necklaces out of stones set in gold and bronze wires, which she’d wear herself and make for friends. The designs proved so popular she began making them for commercial sale, developing a portfolio of offerings and a lookbook while raising two young children. Now, pieces from Seraphine Design are available at over 20 stockists across the country, including retail giant Anthropologie. Made by hand, Seraphine’s pieces embrace her original theme and ideal of showcasing the natural beauty of the stone, manifested into wearable rings, cuffs, earrings, necklaces and asymmetrical collar necklaces.
Grounded in the creative community of East Nashville, Seraphine Design shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon, as its principal designer continues to churn out unique, timeless pieces.
