Whisk: a Sustainable Bakeshop

Whisk is known for their heavenly baked goods and homemade pop tarts, but did you know they sell homemade ice pops all summer long? Flavors range from peach-jalapeño to blueberry-goat cheese. Grab one at the Tower Grove Farmers Market or their shop on Cherokee Street.

Clementine’s Ice Cream

Clementine’s just opened up this year in Lafayette Square and is making delicious waves in the local ice cream scene. They offer both “Naughty” and “Nice” flavors, which means boozy or non-alcoholic (we know which one we’re choosing). Grab yourself a banana rum with salted caramel butterscotch swirl and take a stroll through the historic Lafayette neighborhood for a perfect summer day.

Tropical Liqueurs

Come for the boozy slushes and stay all day long. Located in the heart of Soulard, this is the perfect spot for a hot afternoon of day-drinking with friends. They have flavors ranging from Toasted Almond to Raspberry Lemonade, and they’ll each give you a much-needed brain freeze.

If you’ve ever been to the Kirkwood Farmers Market, then you probably know about “TroMo.” This no-nonsense shaved ice stand has two locations, and each dish up traditional shaved ice with countless flavors. Pink champagne fizz, anyone? And yes, the rumors are true; you can add Nerds to the top for free!

Park Avenue Coffee

Who said you can’t cool down at a coffee shop? With real fruit smoothies and frappuccinos made with Ghirardelli dark chocolate, white chocolate and real vanilla bean, Park Avenue Coffee has you covered. They have three spots across St. Louis … but our recommendation? Stop by the location on The Hill and take it with you to Tower Grove Park, or simply enjoy every sip on their neighborhood patio.
