Chef Mark Lucas and Fozzie’s made the cut alongside big names like Rick Bayless of Xoco in Chicago, Anne Quatrano at Star Provisions in Atlanta and Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi of Parm in New York City.

The magazine called attention to Lucas’ use of “his own homegrown vegetables for recipes like the black-bean burger with roasted peppers.”

Fozzie’s expanded beyond its flagship Richmond Heights location last fall, opening up a spot in Des Peres. 1170 S. Big Bend Blvd., Richmond Heights, 314.932.5414 and 11656 Manchester Road, Des Peres, 314.909.4757
