Where to Celebrate July 4: St. Louis Firework Shows & Rooftop Parties

There is no shortage of fireworks displays, parties and festivals honoring the red, white and blue on Fourth of July in St. Louis. From free community events for the whole family to rooftop bar soirees, the city is brimming with celebrations!

So, take a look at our list below, and decide which of the following events best matches your preferences for this year’s Independence Day.

 

Vin de Set – July 4th Rooftop Fireworks Celebration
2017 Chouteau Ave., Lafayette Square
Those who want to experience the best of both the fine dining and fireworks worlds won’t want to miss out on Vin de Set’s annual rooftop celebration, complete with a four-hour premium bar, gourmet-worthy food, delicious desserts and live entertainment.
Tickets are available online for $75 + and include dinner, drinks and entertainment.

Cielo Restaurant & Bar – 4th of July on the Sky Terrace
999 North 2nd St., Downtown
Cielo’s Sky Terrace will offer picnic-themed cuisine with barbeque, delicious American sides and over-the-top desserts. Live music and dancing will also be on the lineup.
Tickets are available online for $95-145 a person for dinner or dinner and an open bar.

 

Fair Saint Louis 2013

Certainly the city’s biggest Fourth of July celebration, the annual Fair Saint Louis weekend will feature day-long events with air shows, a parade, kids’ activities, a concert by country star Trace Adkins (followed by Bret Michaels and Counting Crows concerts on July 5th and 6th) and, of course, a giant fireworks display.

Community Days in Webster Groves

Lasting throughout Fourth of July weekend, Community Days in Webster Groves provides a carnival, barbecue, family nights, a Miss Webster Pageant, parade and more. Fireworks are set off on both July 4th and July 6th as well.

Kirkwood Park, Fourth of July Freedom Fireworks
111 South Geyer Road, Kirkwood
Gather family or friends together for a trip to see this local fireworks display at Kirkwood Park. Allowing for a picnic-friendly area, there will also be live music starting at 7 pm. The fireworks start at dusk.

Synergy Fireworks Viewing Party, Pointe 400
400 South 4th St., Downtown
Admire the downtown fireworks celebration by watching the view at Pointe 400 at this year’s Synergy Fireworks Viewing Party. Guests can enjoy a cash bar and can even reserve tables ahead of time.
Tickets are available online for $15-20 and include entrance to the party as well as accessibility to the cash bar.

Riverfest in St. Charles
222 South Riverside Drive, St. Charles
Head out to Frontier Park for this all day celebration including a 10 am parade, vendor booths, live music and fireworks along the banks of the Missouri River.

Heritage and Freedom Fest
With carnival rides, food, entertainment, craft vendors and more, this three-day celebration is a great pick for singles, couples and families. There is even a complimentary shuttle service available. Just don’t forget the fireworks!

Chesterfield 4th of July Fireworks Celebration
291 Chesterfield Center, Chesterfield
This eighth annual event has one of the biggest fireworks shows in the St. Louis metro area. There is also a KidZone featuring clowns, a stilt walker, games and more. A free concert starts at 7 pm, and food trucks are available to visitors.

4th of July Fest, Six Flags St. Louis
4900 Six Flags St. Louis Railroad, Eureka
Ride your favorite Six Flags roller coasters, play games, enjoy music and take part in theme park activities. Then, at the end of your day, check out the large fireworks display.
Tickets are available online. These tickets include admission to Six Flags St. Louis, and prices vary.

Fourth of July Celebration, rooftop bar at 360
1 South Broadway, Downtown
Guests have the option of doing a semi-private platinum fire pit glow table option or the VIP fireworks glow table option during this event. Beyond the perfect view to the downtown fireworks display, those who buy the packages get access to free gifts, special seating, an open bar and more. Those looking just to party can pay a $10 dollar cover to join the Red, White & Blue Glow Party.
Tickets are available online for $250-1,500+ per table and, depending on price of ticket, include access to private viewing areas, free gifts, food and drink options, designated tables and more. For $10, guests can access the Red, White and Blue Party.
