West Elm Opens in St. Louis

Furniture and home décor fanatics have a new shopping destination with the addition West Elm, which opened last Thursday at the St. Louis Galleria. Just 10 years young, the San Francisco-based furniture company operates on a culture of providing and creating affordable designs for modern day living. This is its first location in the St. Louis market, joining 57 other stores nationwide.

West Elm strives on supporting the independent artist, and features collaborations with designers from all over the world including pottery from Carla Peters, and bedding from textile designer Sarah Campbell. The St. Louis location also features handcrafted items from eight local artists who are sourced through Etsy, providing customers access to locally-made beauty products, photography, utensils, and home accessories to name a few. Designers include, Gallery Zoo Art, Belles and Ghosts, Sucre Shop, Sprouted Designs, ReAuthored, Two Wheel Design, Grindstone Design and The Artistic Agrarian.
