1/ Yesterday’s breaking news marks another exit and shift in the luxury fashion market: Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli are set to exit Calvin Klein, with the rumor mill spinning that former Dior creative director (and another blow on the ever-growing list of luxury fashion leader losses) Raf Simons may be a possible successor. I have to admit, I do like the sound of that.

2/ This weekend marks the premiere of “The First Monday In May,” the tell-all docu-film about the ultra exclusive Met Gala. Watch the trailer here, and head on out to Landmark Theater at Plaza Frontenac this weekend to view the full-length feature for yourself.

3/ The plus-sized fashion industry is booming and WhoWhatWear reports that shopping the once nearly obsolete fashion sub-category is slated to get even easier. “Young consumers these days know what they want and are creating the demand for more stylish options in a wider range of sizes.”

4/ LA-based line PHLEMUNS is inspired by everything I love: the ’90s, thrifting and vintage elements are paired in such a way that gives a futuristic feel—most specifically by its definition as a demographic-free label. DAZED chats with the brand’s designer, James Flemons, on his unique vision, his pop-culture icons and being inspired by “ugly.”
