Fashion news, trends, topics and images straight from the desk of yours truly.

/ One of the most shocking pieces of fashion news in the past six months has come full circle: Bouchra Jarrar has been named the new artistic director of women’s collections at Lanvin, replacing the much loved—and sadly ousted—Alber Elbaz. Unlike Elbaz, Jarrar will solely be taking over the women’s collections, thanks to over 20 years of experience working under Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga and Christian Lacroix.

/ The AW16 collection presentations have wrapped, leaving in their wake countless highs, industry functioning lows and fresh new faces that are set to take over the next few months of ad campaigns. Although everyone has their own favorite collections—for me Gucci, Loewe and Louis Vuitton top the list—Vogue counts down their top 10 collections that really summarize what fashion is now. Get ready to swoon.

/ It’s no news that the digital age has made some major changes in fashion, case in point: the ebb and flow of the fashion blogger. Since their early rise to stardom when the blogging boom began nearly 10 years ago, we have seen countless personal style stars make the rise into fame—and even more fall off the charts. Fashionista counts down the top 20 bloggers who have hit the high note in 2016—and the rankings may surprise you.

/ We all know that Derek Blasberg is surrounded by fabulous fashionistas at all times, but if you are looking for an exclusive inside look at his Paris Fashion Week experience that didn’t make the cut on his IG, Vanity Fair has you covered. In other news, could Bella Hadid be any more of a babe?
