The hilarity and fashion at this year’s Golden Globes did not disappoint as celebrities suited up, drank up and laughed it up at last evening’s ceremony. We have gathered a few of our fashion hits and misses, marking the launch of the 2014’s award season of Best Dressed.

Not only did co-host Amy Poehler (along with Tina Fey) keep the audience rolling with laughter, but she nabbed one of the top red carpet looks of the night with this fabulous Stella McCartney gown.
Cate Blanchett never disappoints. This Armani number easily stole the show.
As predicted, the flawless Lupita Nyong’o looked stunningly minimalist in Ralph Lauren.
Also in vibrant red-orange, Emma Watson took a risk, and it paid off. She looks young and fresh in this vibrant open-back creation, worn with black slacks and purple heels.
Elegant in Escada—I’m not sure if it’s the lavender hair or that red carpet stance—we couldn’t take our eyes off of Kelly Osbourne.
Lizzy Caplan styled this gorgeous Emilio Pucci dress perfectly with her curly bob, wine colored fingernails and structured bag.
Simple and chic, Robin Wright looked like a real-life Golden Globe in Reem Acra.
We loved the fit, sparkle and shape of this stunning J. Mendel dress. Well done to Elisabeth Moss (and that perfect bob).
Michelle Dockery does this charming Oscar de la Renta justice with minimal styling and faded gold heels.
We love you Julia, but this part white button-up, part evening gown creation was lost on us.
What was Paula Patton wearing? And is it alive?
Although Tina Fey looked fabulous in a few of her other dresses of the night, her red carpet choice wasn’t up to par. Are those flowers or birds?
Zoe Saldana actually stumped us this year. Although we appreciate her trendsetting efforts, this sort-of-love-it, sort-of-hate-it frock left us unsure. Is it too french maid? Too unfinished in appearance? She’s so stunning, it’s hard to decide! What do you think?
