Visit the Chesterfield Mall food court this Sunday, Sept. 13 at 7pm to attend the benefit that is sure to wow in both its up-and-coming fashions as well as its collection of canned donations. A mall food court may seem an unlikely setting for a fashion show, but leave it to fashion event specialists M&D Productions to pull out all the stops for an outstanding runway show. This unique space is also the perfect spot to remind attendees of the event’s charitable focus: food. Canned goods and donations collected at Fashion For Food will be donated to the Salvation Army and Food Outreach, which provides hot meals, groceries, dietary advice and cooking classes for its clients around the greater St. Louis area.

Designers will compete in two different categories according to experience: upcoming designers will vie for the Junior Designer Award while established designers can enter to win the Emerging Designer Award. While both categories offer generous prizes from Babylock Machine Co. and PGM Dressform Co., the winner of the Emerging Designer Award will have his or her garments displayed at Macy’s in Chesterfield Mall. Support aspiring designers and your local community this weekend at Fashion For Food—it’s bound to be a benefit you don’t want to miss!
