After receiving a healthy serving of accolades over the past year, Chef Brian Hale, creator of Monarch, is embarking on a new culinary adventure outside the walls of his own kitchens. Along with Sanctuaria mixologists Matt Seiter and Joel Clark, Hale is throwing monthly pop-up-dinners—each with a different theme, venue and menu. The first one was held in March at Bocci Bar, where Hale is director of culinary operations. It sold out so quickly that Hale has begun keeping the venue a secret until just one week before the event. So, keep those eyes and ears peeled if you want to get in on the action.
