David Yurman Boutique Opens in Plaza Frontenac
This past weekend, David Yurman opened its newest boutique in Plaza Frontenac. The 1,520-square-foot store was designed by Yurman’s award-winning in-house design team and features classically modern architecture with every element of the interior thoughtfully reflecting the brand’s luxurious yet relaxed aesthetic.
Born in Manhattan, Yurman began his career as a sculptor. In the ’70s, he made a necklace as a gift for his soon-to-be wife, Sybil, and a jewelry business was born. The business has stayed in the family, with Yurman’s son Evan joining the business in 2003 as the head of men’s jewelry design. Immediately identifiable by the Cable motif which is present as a connecting element in all of the collections, David Yurman jewelry projects effortless American luxury.
As artists, David and Sybil Yurman have always been interested in design. Their boutiques are known for their architecture, even winning an award for design at the World Watch and Jewelry Show in Basel, Switzerland.
The boutique will carry David Yurman’s classic collections, including gold and sterling silver designs for women and men; timepieces; fine jewelry; and the Wedding Collection. Recently launched collections will also be available, including the Venetian Quatrefoil® Collection, Hampton Cable Collection®, Cable Buckle Collection®, and pieces from the Petite Pavé Collection, as well as the Forged Carbon, Frontier™, Meteorite, and Modern Chevron collections for men.
David Yurman’s boutique is located at Plaza Frontenac, 1701 South Lindbergh Boulevard.
