Clayton Restaurant Week Slated For Summertime
Turns out St. Louisans have a difficult time passing up a deal when it comes to dinner. The City of Clayton learned that when more than 19,000 people partook in the January Clayton Restaurant Week. Seeing the success of the three-course dinner promotion, the City of Clayton and Synergy Productions recently announced a summer edition of Clayton Restaurant Week, set to run from July 14-20.
During that week, diners can get a table at one of the 13 participating restaurants and enjoy three courses for only $25. Each restaurant crafts their own menu for the event, giving diners the option to choose between a handful of starters, entrées and desserts. Drink specials on pours of Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois Cidre are also offered. Participating restaurants in the summer edition of Clayton Restaurant Week include: Bar Napoli, Bocci Wine Bar, Cardwell’s, C.J. Muggs, Coastal Bistro & Bar, Jimmy’s on the Park, Oceano Bistro, Pomme Cafe & Wine Bar, Pomme Restaurant, Remy’s Kitchen & Wine Bar and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
The Clayton Restaurant Week gives back to the community by encouraging diners to add on an “extra helping” of $5 when presented with the check. The donation benefits Operation Food Search, the largest food bank in St. Louis and the bi-state area, which provides meals for approximately 150,000 needing individuals each month. In January alone, Clayton Restaurant Week diners were able to raise more than $10,000 to support the efforts of Operation Food Search.
