Chef Bob Brazell wins $25K Marketing Makeover from Hatchbuck

A huge congratulations is in order to Bob Brazell! After entering St. Louis sales and marketing software Hatchbuck’s First Buck Video Contest on Nov. 17, he was crowned the winner today with the help of the public vote. The chef and owner of SnackSTL recently announced plans to overtake the former Popeyes location in the Cherokee Street neighborhood with his local fast food concept, Byrd & Barrel. Take a look at Brazell’s video entry to learn more about it.

Brazell will receive a $25,000 marketing makeover which includes a lifetime license to Hatchbuck, a PR campaign from Mercury Labs, website redesign by Spoke, content marketing strategy from Influence & Co. and entrepreneurship training provided by Kauffman FastTrac.

Brazell plans to make Byrd & Barrel a fast-casual atmosphere that will serve chicken from local suppliers and canned beers, and is expected to arrive in January. Guests who dine in will be able to choose from a wider selection of menu items while the drive-thru will be a smaller-focused menu of the freshly prepared foods offered with quick service.
