Celebrate Style Announces Fashion Show To Benefit Siteman Cancer Center
Searching for a stylish evening with a benevolent bent? Look no further: Fashion and philanthropy join hands next month at the third annual Celebrate Style cocktail party and fashion show. Set in the grand performance space of the Contemporary Art Museum, models will walk the runway this year following a cocktail party on Sept. 18.
Equal parts charity and fashion, Celebrate Style offers an extensive presentation of current trends for a good cause: All of the evening’s proceeds will directly benefit cancer research. Donations benefit not only cancer survivor programs, but also top research facilities in the nation, including the Young Woman’s Breast Cancer Program and the Directors Discovery Fund at Siteman Cancer Center. These institutions support the research and treatment programs of the Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, which both work toward early detection and prevention.
Celebrate Style is guaranteed to be not only a novel parade of fashion, but also an optimistic celebration of cancer survivors. Tickets include cocktails, appetizers, a raffle and the fashion show. Doors open at 6pm with a fashion show to follow at 7:15pm. Makeup and hair will be done by Philip Johnson Spa and featured designers and boutiques include Calvin Klein, Apricot Lane, Ivy Hill, Splash Boutique, Gap, Michael Shead, Paperdolls Boutique, Paulie Gibson, and Dimvaloo.
