The honors keep rolling in for St. Louis-based footwear powerhouse Brown Shoe Company, whom is slated to be honored as Company of the Year on April 27 in New York City by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) at the prestigious American Image Awards. CEO, President and Chairman Diane Sullivan will accept the award on the company’s behalf.

Brown is in excellent company, with fellow award-winners that include top names in the industry. Mark Derbyshire will accept the award of Retailer of the Year on behalf of Holt Renfrew; Cynthia Rowley is the big honoree for Designer of the Year and Kelly Osbourne, Fashion Police Co-Host, fashion designer, and actress will walk away with the honor of Fashion Maverick. The remaining award recipient for Person of the Year will be announced shortly.

AAFA President and CEO Juanita D. Duggan also announced that acclaimed artist and 2011 Fashion Maverick recipient Ruben Toledo will create a new design for the AIA Award silhouette. The star-studded gala event will take place at the end of April in New York and will also raise money for charity partner Mercy Ships, whose life-saving efforts will also be honored at the event.
