On Thursday, March 31 Brennan’s presents “If These Walls Could Talk” to celebrate their collaboration late last year with St. Louis artist Kevin Kelly. Kelly took over the Bar Talk Wall for a month-long period, where he came up with around 30 original sayings and selected his four favorites to handset on the wall. He then photographed the wall multiple nights of the week in order to capture how it influenced the vibe and conversation inside the bar.

“If These Walls Could Talk” will showcase Kelly’s work, with prints of his photographs available for sale, and feature live music by DJ Crucial. This evening will also be the kickoff for the second annual Four Roses Bourbon 100-Word Short Story Contest, where patrons are encouraged to write a short story on a napkin and turn it in to the bartender for consideration.

Brennan’s hopes that this event will be the start of further collaborations in which artists like Kevin Kelly are invited to take over the Beer Talk Wall.
